The Sailor Corellia Saga

Chapter 2

By Chirudo ChibiSuta/Sailor Corellia

You could see them from miles away. It was mostly their hair and their wardrobes that made them visible. Four girls walked side by side down the street, two of which had their arms linked, like they were the best of friends, the tallest of which was a dark brunette with teardrop odangos. She had light brown eyes and wore a dark green t-shirt and jeans, something people on Coruscant hadn't ever seen. She also wore a green belt, and from that belt hung a lightsaber hilt. The next-tallest had sandy blonde hair with red streaks, up in Gungan eyes-and-ears pigtails. She had blue eyes and wore a pale blue knee-length dress and black knee-high boots. She and the brunette were the exact same height; they were the ones with their arms linked. The "middle-height" person had dark brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She wore a white, ankle-length dress and flats. She carried a staff, which was well taller than she. The shortest and youngest of the group had curly golden-brown hair and crystalline blue eyes. She wore something to the effect of a green lizard-hide swimsuit, with red shorts underneath, and a blue waist-length jacket. On her feet was a pair of brown leather boots. Each girl wore a strange device on a band around their wrist.

"Ooh, look over there, Suta-chan!" the blonde-redhead exclaimed to the odangoed brunette, pointing in a store window in the huge store complex they were strolling in. In the window was an outfit with a black sequined shirt, a long silver skirt, and black boots.

The other girl, Suta-chan, turned her head to stare at the outfit. "That's so pretty!" It took the pushing of the other two brunettes to get them away from the store.

"Audra! Chakra!! Can't we look?!!" the two protested as they entered a lower-priced store.

Somewhere deep in the dark bowels of the city, a voice rang out, deep and fearless. "WHY DIDN'T YOU GET THE BRAT?!"

Another voice replied: "I'm sorry, Mistress. She had reinforcements and attacked me. It won't happen again, I promise." A shadowy figure in red sailor-type fuku bowed to another figure.

"It had better not, for your sake Sith Eimin."

"I swear upon the Dark Force, Mistress Kendra." Sailor Sith Eimin bowed again and disappeared into the darkness.

Kendra laughed demonically. "Soon that little Princess Brat will be in my clutches! The planet Corellia will be MINE!!" Kendra continued laughing.

When the four girls returned to the room-behind-the-waterfall, Suta-chan was carrying four bags in each hand, Kairiku (the blonde) carried two each, Audra carried three bags total, and Chakra had four. They trudged into the room just as a blue-haired girl was walking out. ChibiSuta (Suta-chan) ran into her, but didn't drop her bags.

"Sorry Kyoko!" she said. Kyoko smiled at the girls and continued on her way.

They lugged their bags into a corner and sat, going through the stuff they'd gotten. ChibiSuta dragged a pair of dark green glittery boots out of one bag and immediately put them on.

Kairiku looked at the girl. "That looks great, Suta-chan!"

"Thanks, Kairi-chan!" ChibiSuta exclaimed, then started shuffling through her stuff again. Audra pulled a white shimmery dress from one of her bags, admiring the ivory floral pattern on it. Chakra, the eight-year-old, yanked a stuffed rancor from a bag and hugged it.

"Chakra, I still don't see why you had to get that. It isn't even cute!" Audra pointed out.

Chakra defended her stuffie. "It reminds me of home! I can't wait to show it to Nom!" She hugged it again and set it in her lap, going through her stuff again.

Kairiku ran out of the room carrying one of her bags after whispering something in ChibiSuta's ear.

Audra watched the girl go. "Where's she going?" she asked.

"To try on one of her new outfits," ChibiSuta answered, putting one of her own outfits together.

Soon, Kairiku returned wearing a seafoam green tank top, a pale blue jacket and pants, and a set of silver barrettes in her hair. "How's it look?" she queried shyly.

"It's great, Kairi! Looks like your fuku!" Chakra exclaimed, folding one of her new imitation lizard-hide dresses.

"My turn!" ChibiSuta grabbed one of her new outfits and dashed out of the room. She soon returned wearing a sleeveless, ankle-length green dress with an orange floral pattern around the bottom edge. On her feet were the sparkly boots, and wrapped around her odango were strings of green, orange, and white beads. Around her neck was a chain with a half a silver heart on it. She held the other half in her left hand.

Kairiku gasped. "Wow, Suta-chan! You look like a princess in that!"

"You don't know the half of it..." she muttered.

"What was that, Suta-chan?" Chakra said, as she was passing her to put on one of her dresses.

"Nothing..."

Suddenly all four girls' communicators beeped. ChibiSuta answered first.

"ChibiSuta here!"

Sailor Shooting Star's face filled the tiny screen. "Suta-chan! Sailor Sith Eimin's attacking!" she exclaimed breathlessly. Suddenly she disappeared from view, and the screen was covered with static.

"Shooting Star!!" ChibiSuta screamed. "Come on girls, we gotta go help them!!"

They ran out of the room, each pulling out their henshin object.

"Corellia Star Power.."

"Gungan Force Power..."

"Alderaan Power.."

"Chibi Dathomir Power.."

"MAKE UP!" They all transformed and were off.

It seemed like they'd been running for hours, but it had only been minutes. ChibiSuta's and Kairiku's Force senses led them to the still-going skirmish between Sailors Naboo, Shooting Star, and Dathomir, and Sailor Sith Eimin. Corellia and the rest of her group stayed in the shadows, at least until Sith Eimin grabbed Sailor Naboo and threw her into a brick wall. Corellia saw Chibi Naboo fuming and stepped out of the shadows, banging her staff against the ground to get Sith Eimin's attention.

"A planet of serenity is my guardian deity. For magic and strength, with the Force as my guide, I'll make you pay! I'm Sailor Corellia!" Corellia shouted, pointing the newly-sharpened tip of the durasteel four-pointed star on her staff at Sith Eimin.

"For Youth and Duality, I'm the Pretty Jedi Sailor Chibi Naboo! I protect wisdom and the future, and you're messing with the wrong kid!" Chibi Naboo cried, forcing back tears at her mother's rumpled body.

"I am the Pretty Soldier Sailor Alderaan, and if you think you can do that to our friends, you have another thing coming!" Sailor Alderaan followed, twirling her staff.

Since Sailor Chibi Dathomir had transformed, she was her 20-year-old self. "I am the protector of one's inner light. I am Sailor Chibi Dathomir, and you will NOT get away with your actions here!" she finished dramatically, stepping up behind the younger senshi.

Sailor Sith Eimin snarled at the girls. "Are you done yammering already?!" She crossed her arms across her chest.

Sailor Corellia scowled at the evil senshi. "You should not have come back. I thought I made that perfectly clear last time we met!" Corellia held her staff in both gloved hands, in a menacing posture.

Sith Eimin laughed. "All you did last time was made me madder! Princess, if you want to keep blathering on, that's fine with me, but your friends are going to meet their maker! Black Lightning..."

She only got to that point. Suddenly her arms, legs, and body were bound by rings of multicolored energy. A small girl stepped out of the shadows, her purple hair shimmering.

"How dare you try to hurt my sister! You are going to pay for that! In the name of the Force and the Birth of Stars, I am Sailor Nebula!" The girl stepped up beside Sailor Corellia, who stared down at her little sister with awe.

"How'd you get here?!" Corellia squealed.

"No time for that! Get her!" Sailor Sith Eimin was starting to squirm around in her bindings.

"Okay imoutochan!" Corellia looked over at her friends. "Wanna help me take out the trash?"

After three nods of approval, each senshi powered up their attacks.

"Corellia Lightning.."

"Gungan Blue Ball..."

"Sacred Light..."

"Magic Staff.."

"....BOLT!!"

"...LAUNCH!"

"..REFLECTION!"

"...STUN!"

A ball of flashing blue and silver light went straight at Sailor Sith Eimin. She had freed herself of her bonds but barely dodged the attack. It caught her full in the left side. She screamed but lived. She disappeared in a flash of blinding red light.

When everyone regained their sight, the unhurt senshi de-transformed and ran to help the injured senshi. ChibiSuta, Kairiku, and the former sailor Nebula kneeled by Sailor Naboo, now Kyoko.

Chibi Naboo was crying. "Are you okay, Kyoko?"

"I've been better." She coughed. "I think I broke a couple ribs."

Before ChibiSuta could volunteer to heal her, her sister piped up. "I can heal it!"

"Neburaa, you're too young now... you can hardly pick up my staff, much less heal Kyoko."

Neburaa looked indignant. "Try me!" She placed a hand over where the Force told her the broken ribs were. She didn't touch Kyoko at all. Purple energy crackled between her hand and the ribs. Fairly soon Kyoko sat up painlessly.

"Thank you, Neburaa." She smiled at the child. "By the way, how old are you?"

"I'm nine standard years old," she replied, tucking her transformation brooch into her pocket. She wore a purple tee shirt with the symbol of Saturn on it, black silky windpants, and purple all-stars. Her hair was in warrior-braids like Nom's.

"Well," Nom said, coming up behind them, "since you are senshi of the birth of stars, and I am the senshi of creation, would you like to be my apprentice in your training?"

"Would I?!" she repeated. "Yes, Ma'am!" She stood, her braids shuffling around noiselessly. Nom set a hand on her shoulder, and Neburaa looked up at the six-foot-tall woman standing over her.

"Good, because the Sailor Sith seem to attack a bit more now that your sister is with us. The more help we have, that is for the better," Nom stated in her no-nonsense, humorless voice.

Neburaa quirked an eyebrow at Nom's speech pattern. "You don't happen to be from Dathomir, do you?" It was then that Neburaa noticed Nom's maroonish lizard hides and ... sparkly purple boots??

"Why, yes. Why do you ask?"

Neburaa's icy blue eyes bugged out. "Oh my gosh!!" She went on about how she admired Dathomirian witches and had wished she could actually meet one and now she finally had.

Nom stared at the babbling girl, then her friends, a strange look on her face that said "What do I do?"

ChibiSuta, Kairiku, and the rest of the group started laughing their heads off, and Chakra came up to Nom.

"Don't worry, Nom. You get used to it, trust me!" Chakra winked at Nom, then went over to Kairiku and ChibiSuta, who were still laughing their heads off. Neburaa followed the younger girl. She poked ChibiSuta in the side.

"Imoutosan? Could I bunk with you for the time being?"

Deep in the darkness of the undercity, Sailor Sith Eimin sat on a discarded metal toolbox, cleaning her deep wounds, hissing when it stung.

"Sith Eimin! Why did you fail to capture the princess THIS time?!" Kendra's menacing voice filled the blackness around her.

"Gomen, Mistress Kendra, some little purple-haired brat showed up and bought them time to attack. Said her name was 'Sailor Neb-' "

"EXPLANATIONS ARE EXCUSES, SITH EIMIN!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO REPEAT THAT?!" Kendra's voice boomed, though she still could not be seen.

Sith Eimin cringed. "I'm sorry! That little sailor-brat keeps having new reinforcements! What's to say that next time I meet her she won't have her mother with her?!"

Kendra stepped out of the darkness. "You don't get a 'next time', Sith Eimin! Go to your quarters! I'm giving this job to Sith Iyagaru!"

Sith Eimin trudged off grumbling.

Kendra watched the girl go. "It's so hard to find good help these days!"
