By Seijoutai Priire/Sailor Asteroid

Sailor Yavin was frustrated. This wasn’t unusual for her considering that her sister, Sailor Asteroid, was a pain the posterior. Today was different. Today Sailor Asteroid was getting on everyone’s nerves.

“One more time,” Yavin muttered to herself. “One more time and I’m going to kill her.”

All the Sailors were stressed. It had been a hard few weeks, with more Sailor Sith and rumors of Sith than they could handle. Sighing, the Sailors returned again to their exercises. The only one who was even close to cheerful was Sailor Asteroid, which was the reason she was on everyone’s last nerve.

“Agh!” Sailor Yavin IV tripped over the only rock on the whole plain to land on her face, dislodging the cat on her shoulder. Solai shook himself off and plopped down in the dust.

“Baby, this is crazy!” he moaned.

The fiery haired Yavin turned to Asteroid, who thought the whole scene was hilarious. The blonde was doubled over laughing. When she looked up, the Guardian of the Time Gates was glaring at her. “Oh no,” Asteroid said and offered up a half-hearted grin. She put her hand to her head, right in the hematite stone on her tiara.

The other Sailor waggled her Time Staff and bopped her sister on the head with it. Then they all learned why, no matter how annoying Usagi got in the show, Setsuna never bopped her with the Time Staff.

In a childish voice, the reduced size Sailor proclaimed, “I’m Tha-wer A-th-teroid!”

Even through the lack of “s” sounds, everyone knew who it was.

“We got problems,” Solai sighed.

Reluctantly heading back to the Black Fire Dreamer, Ippin wondered how to tell everyone that she’d accidentally turned her big sister into a little kid. “Priire!” she yelled. “Get your odango’ed head back here!”

Not only had the former Sailor Asteroid shrunk, but she’d also gotten a pair of Usagi-esque odango. Of course, the hair that made them up was still braided. It was a very… unique look.

“Who’s that?” Annika asked as the two walked in. “She’s so cute!”

Ippin stalled for a moment. “She, uh, yeah she is.”

She didn't have to be Force-sensitive to know that Ippin was stalling. “Who is it?”

“It’s…um…It’s…”

The little blonde spoke up for herself. “I’m Priire! Who are you?”

Annika looked at Ippin in shock. “Oh no!” the white haired girl cried. “How did the Sailor Sith do this??”

“Gee. The clouds are pretty today.”

“Coru, there aren’t any clouds out today. And since we’re inside the ship, you wouldn’t be able to see them anyway.”

Mental note to self - never try fooling a Force-sensitive Princess, Ippin sighed to herself. “Okay, I’ll tell you what happened.” She sighed and recited everything.

By the end, a few more of the Senshi had gathered around and were caught between laughing and crying.

“You zapped Priire into a Chibi?” Chrone asked, her eyes wide. She flicked her red hair behind her shoulder with a clawed hand. “Any particular reason?”

Nami, who had been locked in the closet on account of yelling at Koumi and almost starting the Sith Wars all over again, tried not to laugh. “Well, she’s cute. Maybe she won’t get in as much trouble.”

“Don’t count on it,” Oola muttered. Usually good-tempered, she was hard pressed not to slap the little blonde across the room. It was the second time that she’d had to prevent the curious Chibi-Priire, as they’d taken to calling her, from using her lekku as swings.

“It could be worse,” Ippin sighed. “At least Kousotsu doesn’t know.”

“Know what?”

Somehow when the aforementioned man walked into the room everyone else disappeared. The only three that seemed to be left were Kousotsu, Ippin, and Chibi-Priire. “Hi…” Ippin started.

The dark haired man looked from Ippin to the child on the floor. “Who’s that?”

“It’s Priire,” the redhead sighed.

“Come again?”

Ippin told the story she’d told at least a dozen times before, starting with Priire being annoying and ending with herself zapping Priire into a child. Contrary to her fears, Kousotsu started laughing. “Really?” he asked when he’d calmed down.

She nodded.

“Perchance if you try hitting her with your Time Staff again, she would revert to normal. Or as close to normal as Priire usually comes,” Xarae suggested, just walking in. She had heard the story from the other girls standing outside the door.

Shaking her head, Ippin explained that she’d tried that and it hadn’t worked.

“Whatever you’re going to try, don’t do it now, baby!” Solai shouted. “We’ve got company! And they ain’t in-laws!”

“Asteroid!” Yavin yelled from where she was helping Yavin IV stand up, again. “No!”

The little girl was determinedly casting a rather pitiful shower of asteroids at the Sith. Sailor Sith Iyagaru could hardly stand, she was laughing so hard. Ayameru, on the other hand, reached out and grabbed the miniature Sailor by her little neck.

“Eep,” Asteroid gulped as the hand tightened around her neck. Ayameru looked down at the form she held in her hand. “Whoever you are, little Sailor, you will be the first of many to die.” She laughed, like her evil master.

Sailor Bakura glared at the Sith and started gesturing with her wand. “We’ve got to save Asteroid,” she declared. “And I have an idea.”

~*~*~*~*~

Sailors Tatoonie, Hoth, Mykyr, Vjun, Kessel, Shooting Star, Calamari, and Yavin IV created a defensive circle around Sailor Coruscant, while most of the others were staggered around to provide support. Yavin was standing out in front with Iridona and Bakura, waiting. Sailor Bakura’s plan was in place quickly. “Let’s go!” the white winged Sailor shouted. She and Iridona spread their wings behind Yavin, creating an impressive picture. Yavin nodded. “Ayameru! Drop that little Sailor!” the redhead yelled.

The Sith turned her red and yellow eyes towards the assembled girls. “Why should I? Oh, are you going to hurt me?” Her manner showed how little she thought of that possibility as she tightened her grip on Asteroid’s little neck.

“Eep,” the child said again. “Eeep!”

“Now, Coruscant!” Bakura said, pointing at Ayameru with wing and wand.

The gray eyed Sailor summoned her power and transported Asteroid away from the Sith. Mykyr held her Force shield in front of the Sailors to protect them while Vjun threw lighting, Tatooine threw sand, and Hoth threw snow. The three elements spiraled out from behind the shield and blasted toward the pair of Sith.

Ayameru cursed and dragged the still laughing Iyagaru into the bolthole she created. With one last glare at the Sailors, they were gone.

~*~*~*~*~

“Let’s see. We’re down two Sith, for the moment, we have two exhausted Sailors, and one’s still a miniature. What happened right before you hit her?”

Yavin thought about what Mykyr said. “She grinned at me, then put her hand to her forehead like she was exasperated or hiding from me.”

The other Sailors were sitting or standing around on the plain where the fight had been. “You still think she can’t get in as much trouble as a little kid?” Ryloth sighed.

Naboo looked at the two sleepers, little Asteroid and Coruscant. The tiny blonde rolled over and put her hand to her head. It gave the blue-haired girl an idea. “Yavin, what if you…” She paused for a moment so Yavin IV, who thought Naboo was talking to her and had tripped trying to turn to look at everyone, could pick herself up. She elected to remain sitting. “What if you tap her when she’s touching her tiara? That was how she was shrunk the time before.”

Smiling, Yavin agreed. “Why not?” She reached over with her staff and knocked her sister in the head.

“Wow. I just had the weirdest dream,” a now older Sailor Asteroid said. “Woah.”

Everyone just laughed.
