The Mystery of Aliha and Katisha

Written by Nagareboshi/Sailor Shooting Star

Aliha slowly opened her eyes and blinked. The light of Proxima Centauri shone brightly, and to her sleep-filled eyes, it hurt. She rubbed them quickly, then sat up.

"So, you're awake," a woman said.

"Who are you?" Aliha asked, quietly, mistrust echoing loudly through her words.

"I have come to take you to your family."

The woman stood and went to Aliha's side. "These people are not your true family, child," she said. It was then that Aliha noticed her odd choice of dress. She wore an extravagant gown, the likes of which Aliha had never seen, not even on the Queen. Being from a fairly high-class family, Aliha was very confused.

"Yes, they are!" she exclaimed.

"Well, whether you believe me or not, you must come."

Aliha screamed, and the guards outside ran into the room. But it was too late - Aliha was gone.

Katisha sat outside a rundown spacer bar. She drank from a dirty glass, then sighed. Why did she have to be forced into such horribly dirty places? She shook her head, then got up. She Force-threw the glass back onto the bar inside, then walked off to find a cheap food stall. As she was walking, she thought about the odd dreams she had been having. She had seen someone who looked exactly like her, but had long black hair. It confused her, and she didn't understand why she kept getting them. Katisha shook her head and stopped walking. She looked around, having felt someone following her. She noticed a woman behind her, wearing an extravagant gown. She frowned, then turned and took off through the crowds, using the Force to keep her from colliding into someone. The woman flew along, chasing Katisha, and no one noticed at all. Odd, Katisha thought as she ran.

The young girl hopped onto a low roof of a store entryway, then hopped onto the higher store roof. She ran along the roofs, jumping the short distance between them easily. The woman flew faster and faster, catching up to Kat. Must... hurry... she thought before she fell and blacked out.

Aliha groaned. She didn't remember anything except waking up in her bed, the light of Proxima Centauri almost blinding her, then screaming and everything going black. She opened her eyes and looked around. She seemed to be in a park, though it didn't look natural. Huge skyscrapers towered above her, and lines of ships and carriers crisscrossed the sky. Where am I? she thought. Aliha sat up and looked around. She noticed a small silver tube next to her with a small note attached. She reached over and lifted the tube, then noticed the it felt familiar in her hands. She looked at the note, and it read:
"If you find yourself in trouble, hold this up and say, 'Chibi Star Power.' "

Aliha was very confused but pocketed the tube and the note. She stood up and walked towards the entrance of one of the tallest buildings with four tall spires surrounding it.

Aliha wandered the halls, passing many men and women dressed in plain brown robes. It made her feel more comfortable, and she felt less afraid because this place seemed so familiar to her. She glanced in some doors and noticed that many people were carrying tubes like the one she had found. She wondered if maybe someone could tell her what was going on. But before she could ask someone, a woman stopped next to her and bent down.

"Are you lost?" she asked.

"I don't know," Aliha said truthfully.

The woman smiled. "Maybe I can help. I'm Nagareboshi."

"I'm Aliha."

"That's a pretty name. Why don't you come to my room and tell me what's up."

Aliha nodded, and Boshi led her down the hall to a small room. They sat on the plain white couch, and Aliha began telling her the story of how she ended up there, or at least what she could remember. Boshi nodded at the right spots as Aliha recounted the very odd tale.

When she had finished speaking, Aliha asked if Boshi knew anything about what was going on. "I think so," Boshi said. "But I must first talk to some friends of mine. You stay here and get some rest - I can tell you are tired - and I will return in a little while."

Aliha nodded. She laid down and closed her eyes, falling into sleep quickly.

Kat sat up quickly. She found herself in an unfamiliar park, and it seemed very unnatural. I must be on Coruscant, she thought, then stood up and yawned. How she ended up here or why she was here, she didn't know. But she felt drawn to the Jedi Temple, though she knew it was better for her not to venture into a temple of the Light Side. She headed away from it, trying to get her barings straight. She noticed buildings around her that she remembered, then quickly realized where she was. She ran off to find her leader, to tell her of what happened.

Aliha awoke, and several women dressed just as Boshi stood around her. "These are my friends: Chikako, Ciel and Xarae."

Aliha waved. "Hi, I'm Aliha."

The other girls all said hello. Then Boshi looked at them, and they silenced.

"Aliha," Boshi said gently. "We have something to tell you. Do not say anything until I finish, okay?"

Aliha nodded.

Boshi smiled at her. "I am not only Nagareboshi, Jedi Knight, but I am also Sailor Shooting Star. Ciel here is Sailor Centrali, Chikako is Sailor Myrkr, and Xarae is Sailor Iridonia. I am part of the Sailor Senshi, a group of men and women who protect the galaxy from the forces of evil. And, Aliha, it seems that the lightsaber you recieved means that you are Sailor Chibi Shooting Star."

Aliha stared off into space, processing the information. "How can I be a... Sailor Senshi?"

"You were born into the roll. Tell me, when you first picked up the lightsaber, did it feel familiar to you?"

Aliha furrowed her brow, then nodded. Boshi looked at one of her friends, and she nodded. "Aliha, there is a woman by your name recorded in the files here who was killed by a Sith warrior. Do you remember anything?"

Aliha closed her eyes, her dream flashing before her. It showed a woman, much older than she, fighting something. Lights flashed, and suddenly Aliha let out a bloodcurdling scream and fell. Luckily Boshi knew it was going to happen and caught her before she hit the floor. "Aliha!" she exclaimed.

"What happened?"

Aliha breathed in and out a few times, then spoke quietly. "I had a dream, before I came here, about a woman being killed by a dark warrior. I never understood it, until now." Boshi nodded. "It must be me."

"On your home world, who did you live with?"

"My parents, of course!"

"If this is all true, which it certainly seems to be, I may know who your true parents are."

"The woman who brought me here said she was taking me to my parents."

"Well, not your parents, per se, but to us. I believe that your parents were once living here, on Coruscant, but were killed, and you were sent millions of light years away, after you died, to the planet that you called home, as a starseed, and once you arrived, you changed back into your original form, but much younger."

Aliha shook her head. "How can this all be true?"

Boshi hugged the frightened young girl. "All will be revealed in due time. Now, you said that the lightsaber felt familiar to you. Maybe we should go to a training room and see just how much you remember."

Kendra nodded. "Yes, my dear Sithling, I understand. Follow this feeling, and you will understand."

Kat nodded. She ran out of the building and took off towards the Temple. She made it in record time and hid just outside the entrance. She knew surprise was her ally, so she transformed quietly into Sailor Star Destroyer. When a young Jedi apprentice walked by her, she Force-choked him until he passed out. She stole his outer robe and used it to hide her outfit, then walked quickly into the Temple. She followed the feeling, and it eventually drew her to a small room. She stood just outside, reading the room. Five Jedi, one young girl. I must use caution.

Boshi sensed something. Someone's outside. Transform now! she thought to her friends, and they nodded. The five girls transformed, and Aliha looked at them in awe.

"Aliha, what did the note say?" Shooting Star asked her.

"It said to say Chibi Star Power if I'm in trouble."

Shooting Star smiled. "It would be a good time to use it."

Aliha nodded and pulled out her lightsaber. She held it up and shouted, "Sailor Star Power!" A bright light surrounded her, and when it faded, she was much taller, and was wearing a grey and purple outfit with a pair of high heels. I'm gonna have to learn to walk in these, she smiled to herself.

Shooting Star smiled. "Okay girls, let's do this thang," she said.

Kat listened, and when she heard that, she smiled and walked into the room. She saw six Sailor Senshi and gulped. Uh oh, she thought. Sailor Shooting Star was about to attack, but Chibi Shooting Star stopped her. She walked over to the girl and knelt down. It was then that they both realized something.

"I look just like you," they said in sync.

"Who are you?" they both said.

"I am Aliha Noshigara."

"That can't be. I'm Katisha Noshigara."

They looked each other, then an expression of recognishion crossed their faces. "We are sisters!" they both exclaimed.

Sailor Myrkr looked confused. "Sisters? This is way too weird."

"I agree," said Iridonia.

"I expected as much, though I couldn't prove it."

Everyone looked at Sailor Shooting Star, confusion on each of their faces. She smiled. "I could sense something from both of them, the same code almost. It's as if they are the same person," she said. "Say, Katisha, how old are you?"

"I'm eight," she said.

"And you, Aliha?"

"I'm eight, too."

Shooting Star grinned. "It seems we have a set of twins."

Kat looked indignant. "I may be her twin," she said. "But I am still a Sailor Sith. But since she IS my sister, I will spare you all... for now."

With that, she turned and left the room.

"I have a sister," Chibi Shooting Star said quietly, and the others smiled softly.

Wow, a Chibi-me... That's totally HOTH!
